Project Showcase, week twelve!

Good afternoon, snakes! Just a quick stop in the Dungeon today for me, as I've got another dungeon to attend to this evening (Le gasp! TH is stepping out on us with another dungeon?!) -- 'tis true, I have a new responsibility as the Master of a local Dungeon. Wish me luck tonight, for I hear it also may be full of Dragons. ;)

Enough blather! On to this week's projects.


Xaintes swaps a real gem of a hat in Charms.


Take a tumble in Flying class? Lyonette's got your butt covered with this engorgio-infused blanket square.


Stealthy friends seems to be a popular choice for dodging past the Whomping Willow. This little guy will help jesseknits out in Herbology.


Speaking of Herbology, Jackiez32 embraced a very verdant theme for her HoM washcloths. (Sorry about the crop! @_@)


Colours within colours! This is some NEWT-level brewing by knitreaver in Potions class.


Howlerbabe repeats a project to make another cuddly friend in DADA.


Gracegoose's zig-zagging cowl artfully shows off the cool colours of the Lake in CoMC.


And finally, somebody had to bring a hottie to the party. Alrischa spins a lovely skein inspired by a well-loved alien for Muggle Studies.

Project Showcase, week eleven!

Ai carumba, snakes. Somebody send me a hottie with a frond fan and a sangria, because I am positively baking in this summer sun. To combat the summer climes (or winter climes for our southern half housemates), chill out/curl up with these lovely projects from this week's turn-ins.

With a project showcase debut, Ephiphonora's fun striped socks! Just the thing to wear while lounging under the lake in the Common Room. Well done in CoMC!


And another Showcase debut by acemom! These wristwarmers will protect one from getting whomped in Herbology.


Inspired by the cozy madness on the Quidditch pitch, LambChop00 crafts a tea cozy of her own for Flying class!

It's only a week into the new month but homework is already rolling in at an alarming rate.


TrishBadish improves on a previous cup cozy design for DADA.


In Potions class, theForestofDean blends many colours together into something to keep her potions nice and snug.


These squid mitts will help rockinsticks fight off any unfriendly merfolk in CoMC.


Piperredfern finishes off this fantastically furry cowl for Muggle Studies.


Let's change things up a bit with a sewing project... Mushroom creates a handy herb-gathering pouch for HoM.


Maigret's mini Calcifer is made of some fancy threads indeed. Going all out for Charms!


Laurel10 whipped up this pair of snazzy socks for foot protection in Flying class.


And finally, a very grouchy Grumpasaurus by 101mystic. He'll help you collect anti-bruising plants in Herbology!

Goodness, snakes, some cat-related situations caught up with me yesterday and I couldn't make my post. But ho! Here are some of the fabulous projects turned in this week:

Project Showcase, week five!

Well snakies, yesterday was the last day of May, and trust me there was a lot of mad turning-in right up until the end. Time to bust out all those projects that took the whole month to finish... even up to the final minutes!



In CoMC, Finnsmydog turned out this beautiful shawl for a friend in need.



Pacasha spun a whopping 1800 yards to make this gorgeous yarn -- way to go in DADA!



PSG tries her hand at Fair Isle in Muggle Studies class.



Just don't mention it reminds you of sparkly vampires... softnshiny's soft and shiny handspun for Potions!



Beads and burgundy make urbanizer the belle of the ball in HoM.



For Flying class, linuxchic made this friendly little guy to help allay her fear of birds.



Check out these magnificent socks by Mushroom -- there may not be any more streeler venom in the Herbology greenhouses, as it all seems to have gone into these socks!



BadAmy's springy linen stitch scarf brightens up the Charms classroom.

What a productive May! But we can't stop here -- onward and upward into June!
