Hugh Jackman cannot be beat!  He faced a very popular hottie in David Tennant and won!  Mark Harmon records his first W of the season and Robert Downey Jr. is on a 4 game winning streak.  But can RDJ keep the drive alive against the number 1 Hottie this week?

In the Pool Division Nathan Fillion is undefeated in divisional matches.  His only loss came in his Pit vs. Pool match against David Tennant.  Dark horse Karl Urban is on his own 4 match winning streak while the tie for last place between Naya Rivera and James McAvoy *could* be broken this week.

Have you recovered from Hogsmeade Weekend yet?  Nope, me neither.  Let's start by heading over to the Slytherin Study Hall for some help cramming those Hogsmeade projects into some class prompts.  Even if it's a non-Rav craft there's still a slight chance you can use it for class if you ask the Professors before you hand it in.

Now, what have we got going on this week?

Well, on Wednesday 27th the Quidditch Paired Pattern Game ends so if you've sworn to craft something with your Quidditch partner remember to get it handed in on time.  If you haven't begun anything there is still time to find a partner and craft.  Head over to the Players Lounge for helping finding that last minute partner (or to find one for the team event next month).  We've been doing well on this one so if you can join in we may have a chance of maintaining the lead right up to the finish line on this Game.

Thursday 28th is not only the deadline for class projects but also for posting your OWL 50% and NEWT 75% progress.  If you're done, don't wait til the last minute, get it handed in as there are many lovely points at stake.

For those who have everything in order, now may be a good time to start/work on next month's Detention project or make a Slytherin Quest Collage.

Evil’s Cheat Sheet of Total Domination, Feb 16-22

What a nail-biting exciting week to watch the homework roll in! First the Gryffs were ahead, but then we snaked in and took over, then they jumped ahead again, then the Puffs looked like they were going to come from behind while the Claws were slowly and stealthily keeping pace, then we and the Gryffs were tied and then, I’m very proud to say, our cunning blasted full force and we won the week.

This week has Noble Slytherin dominating the classrooms:
1. Slytherin with 73
2. Gryffindor with 66
3. Ravenclaw with 59
4. Hufflepuff with 58

There’s still time to get in your last minute homework assignments for February (and OWLs at their halfway point). Remember if you just can’t make it – turn in your partial homework!

By the way, I just got back from visiting Chichen itza (a Mayan pyramid) and their most powerful and revered god? A feathered snake. Cancun actually means snake basket, so it’s nice and homey if you get the chance to go.

It's Hogsmeade Weekend!!! Woohooo!!!

So rather than show off whats been happening outside the common room, run, don't walk to Hogsmeade!

First up, you will need a MAP. This will link you to all of the Hogsmeade shops. There are shops in each of the common rooms and in the Main House Cup threads.

Each of the shops will have activities that you can try. Some are crafting related and some are not. All are fun. Ravelry crafts that you complete for Hogsmeade can also be turned in for classes, quidditch, etc (assuming they also meet the prompt).

Some highlights:

The OWL Post needs help with their Owl rotation.

Gladrags Wizardwear is about all things Mini- mini socks, mini sweaters, etc.

Make or read a book at Tomes & Scrolls.
